Reportage: Hike & Helicopter Ride in the Swiss Alps

This past weekend I was lucky enough to get to visit Interlaken, Switzerland. I have little experience with mountain towns, so this was completely new and definitely out of my realm of comfort. My girlfriends and I fully embraced the breathtaking nature of Interlaken, the Swiss Alps, and the surrounding mountain villages. We spent most of our time there outside—taking in the skyline of the Swiss Alps and enjoying the snow! On our first full day there, we hiked a trail through little mountain towns and then ended up in the small town of Lauterbrunnen, which is located in a valley among the Alps. This is where we chartered a helicopter, which took us to the highest point in Europe.

Follow along as I take you through the hike to Lauterbrunnen and then the helicopter ride to the glacier of Jungfrau!
