I feel that the earnest portraits might be the one you take without staging the scene – almost secretly from the person standing before your camera. Actually in one of the portraits presented here the person was posing for somebody else instead of me. This was the idea which occurred to my mind when I was going through of my photos. But sometimes little staging is necessary is you want to have a beautiful picture.

Self-portraits are the most unnatural form of photography for me. Personally I feel that the ”safest” place is behind the camera than instead of being in the center of observation. So as the contrast of natural light, outdoor space and nature in the background and non-forced expressions in the faces, my self-portrait is totally something else.
